2. I would use YouTube to distribute my
film as it is independent and not
known in the film industry, by uploading
my film to YouTube it will be viewed by
many people worldwide,
which means that the
audience can leave reviews
and comments or/and likes
and dislikes.

3. People might share it, like it and
comment on it which means more and
more people will be able to see it,
by doing this I will get a bigger
audience.

4. If the film is popular and has a big
enough audience, I would present my
film at an independent film festival,
such as ‘No Gloss
Film Festival’.

5. My film is a low budget, independent horror
film, which means it will be harder to
distribute, than a film that was produced
by a conglomerate film company, such as
Universal Pictures. I have researched two
American horror films
with a low budget of
$20 million to find
out if my film can
do well.

6. My first film is ‘The Orphan’, it was
distributed by Warner Bros. and the
US box office was $76.7
million, they made a big
amount of money on this
film, however, possibly
not enough to reach the
amount that ‘The Conjuring’
made.

7. ‘The Conjuring’ received positive
reviews from critics and grossed over
$318 million worldwide from its $20
million budget, making it
one of the highest grossing
films of all time.

8. From this research I found out that
the horror genre films can either be
successful and make a lot of money,
or be unsuccessful and not make money
at all or even lose money, in the
process of making the film, if its so
low rated.
