A PDA is a small, portable handheld computer device that functions as a personal information manager. It uses flash memory instead of a hard drive, has a touch screen interface operated by a stylus, and fits in the palm of the hand. Key features of PDAs include an address book, calendar, notes, and tasks as well as additional optional features like storage, office software, and wireless connectivity. While PDAs were largely replaced by smartphones, the term is sometimes now used to refer to voice assistant software.
