4. GRAMMAR Present Perfect The present perfect simple is used to look back on actions in the past with a connection to the present. Used with this time words : ever - never - before - since - how long - for - just - this - yet - already We also use the Present Perfect to talk about an imprecise time in the past but as soon as we become precise we switch to the Past Simple. Present Perfect is used HAVE / HAS followed by a verb in participle form.

10. FOR and SINCE We use FOR and SINCE to say how long something has been happening.
