What are phonemes?
In linguistics, a phoneme is the smallest sound unit
in a language that is capable of conveying a
distinct meaning, such as the s of sing and
the r of ring.
 The english language has about 44 sounds of
speech. Yhis depends on different accents
 These 44 sounds are represented n the English
wriring system by 26 letters of the alphabet and
combinations of those letters

about change of meaning
