This document proposes a web-based dengue detection and prevention system for Sri Lanka. The system would allow for online reporting of dengue cases by doctors and health officials. It would also generate spatial models to map dengue risk areas and estimate where spraying needs to occur. Currently, Sri Lanka uses a manual process for dengue control that takes around 12 days. The proposed system aims to speed up detection and prevention through an automated, publicly available online system. It would model dengue risk areas based on socioeconomic and cultural factors.
