INTRODUCTION
 As the 21st century is moving ahead, also our railway
system is also moving to next stage, now a days in
our railway system track switching is operated by
man power and gate control too.
 In our project we control all operation like track
switching, automatic gate control and security alarm is
on microcontroller.
 As we know that in our railway system many times
accident is happened by wrong track switching or bad
management.
 And lot of man power is wasted in current railway
system we have to replace it so that the man power
can be saved as well as money too.

Working
 We use the IR sensors pairs for sensing the train .as trains breaks IR
signals controller gets the signals that the train is arrived.
 When the train breaks the nearest IR sensors gate will automatically
closed .as the train passes from gate and cut next IR sensor gate will
be open automatically.
 As the train cuts the nearest IR sensor also a buzzer will start and this
sound is red alert for vehicles that train is arrived. when gate is fully
closed then buzzer will be automatically off .
 If two trains arrived on same track and cuts IR sensors in opposite
directions the red signals is given to both train to avoid the accident.
 This all are represented on computer and provide master control to
user. [i.e. gate position, signal status, track switching, display speed,
position of train.]

Advantages:-
 Large amount of accidents can be avoided.
 Got continues updates of train position at
master control.
 Large amount of man power is saved.
 Well management can be possible due to
sufficient data.
Disadvantages:-
 Because we are using IR sensor the measure
disadvantage is line of sight.
 Fake Detection.
 Implementation cost is high.
Future Scope:-
 We does not use the IR sensor to avoid the
fake detection hence in future we use the
Weight sensor instead of IR.
 GPS system is used instead of cable line.
 System can be implementing for whole
country.
