Starting off, I love this play, it was hilarious but serious at the same time, it had this dark twist and

n my opinion, I believe that they are both intelligent, but in different ways. Carter James is really
calm, learned everything on his own, and actually thinks on what he is going to say. On like
Edward Cole, he s educated, and doesn t care on what he has to say.They both have great minds,
but expressed differently. Edward is based of on money which leads to him not caring. I feel
like they are both smart, but Carter is more smart because he learned a lot of things on his own

time with an emphasis on sexual passions. Here, the pleasures of human erotic pursuit are found
decidedly wanting when compared to the pleasures of the garden. The pleasures compared are of a
kind: No white nor red was ever seen / So amorous as this lovely green (17 18). The colors of white
