I have decided to look at architecture for my next genre in photography. I have chosen architecture as
it is very different to fashion photography and looks at totally different materials and includes different
characteristics. In the early years of photography, few if any photographers were specialists in any
area other than commercial portraiture, which was the main area in which a living could be made from
the new medium. Early photographers did fairly often photograph buildings, often working from the
window of a convenient room rather than at street level.

Even thought the photo only consists of blue, it is made up of lots of different shades of blue.
The lights on the building and around it stand out because they are a bright colour. I think the way the
sea blue colour merges into the deep blue/black colour of the background works really well.
The photograph doesn t really have a story to it, as there isn t much going on, it doesn t have energy or
any movement to it at all. However it could easily be a scene used in a film, such as an establishing
shot. The photo has a certain peaceful feel to it. It is soothing to look at; this is because it is a calm,
quiet setting you can almost feel your presence there, staring into the beautiful view. I think the reason
that the photo has such a positive, relaxing feel to it is down to the fact that the composition of the
photo reminds you of a deep blue sea or a clear black sky. The photo has strong verticals and
horizontal, which emphasise a static feel and the negative space.
The picture has a large depth of field with the two buildings the centre point of it. Only natural
lighting is used for this photo, therefore getting the exact time of day right would have been essential.

the fact that Mr. Stevens and the store never signed a physical contract, he verbally told a store
manager several months ago that he would ship 1,000 units. Now, the chain store has just contacted
Mr. Stevens via letter, demanding that he deliver the promised 1,000 units immediately (Southern

There exists a second issue in the case of Mr. Stevens as well, regarding an eviction notice from his
landlord, telling him he has to be out of the apartment in 30 days because the barking invention has
been bothering the other tenants. The letter further states that Mr. Stevens was not allowed to conduct
his business from his apartment. Mr. Stevens is upset because he claims to have told Quinn that he
was working on a new invention, and the landlord had wished him luck (Southern New Hampshire

Two short novels The Wife of Martin Guerre by Janet Lewis and Good Country People by Flannery O
Conner have very different plots, however, many connections can be made between certain characters.
A strong example of this would be Arnaud (posing as Martin), and Manley, two antagonists from each
of the novels listed above, respectively. In Janet Lewis short novel The Wife of Martin Guerre the
main character Bertrande is taken on an emotional roller coaster as her husband Martin doesn t return
from a trip he promised would only be a week. Just as she is learning to embrace being the head of the
household and a single mother, a man claiming to be the Martin who left her eight long years ago
appears out of the blue, throwing her life and emotions into complete chaos. In Flannery O Conners
short story Good Country People a woman named Hulga, who is unpleasant to the majority of people,
is seduced by a young man, claiming to be nothing more than a simple country boy selling bibles.
Later in these short stories, it is revealed that both of these men are not who they claim to be, and their
lies caused rather dreadful repercussions. These two antagonists delude Hulga and Bertrande in their
respective stories by enticing them with desirable amounts of knowledge and causing them to lose
perception of reality by using manipulation throughout the entire plot. The amount of knowledge these
two antagonists allowed to show was a major part in how they deceived the protagonists. In

houses both males and females; however, our group will only be open to the female residents.

Gas turbines are often exposed to ingestion of particles suspended in the air such as dust, ash, salt, ice,
water droplets, and sand particles during operation. These particles are the most important factor that
cause blade fault in all types of gas turbines. The most common types of blade fault are fouling,
erosion, tip clearance increase, water ingestion, and foreign object damage (FOD) [1]. Most of
mentioned cases cause roughness over the blade surfaces that deteriorate the gas turbine performance.
Different numerical methods were used to solve the gas turbine cascade flow field in recent years. In

I had agreed to go on this three day trip to get away from the normal boring life, but was it better for
me to feel excluded than just feeling bored?
While people around me were dancing and chanting the name of their lord Krishna, I sat there
listening to music or reading a book or watching something. The bus ride was about eight hours long

If someone had asked me that day about my religious beliefs, I would have probably quietly said that I
am a hindu. In my own mind I would consider myself an agnostic, in the way that I will never know if

This opinion of mine had gotten me in a tremendous amount of trouble from my family and friends.
Instead of trying to solve or answer my concerns, they would go down to personal attacks. Once, my
mother told me that, You are just incapable of comprehending the concept of God because you are too
stupid.
On multiple occasions I have been forced to pray, perform a ritual, or go to the temple. I felt that every
time I did any of those actions, I drifted away from religion even more and generally felt alone and

statement leaves space for discussion, such as; the precedent assisting the administration of justice, the
appropriate degree of certainty that precedent carries. There is also room for examination as to just
how far flexibility in precedent serves a positive purpose to meet contemporary needs.
The first point of discussion stems from the objective of precedent to assist in the administration of
justice . Being a key component of the common law legal system, precedent is based on stare decisis,
which is Latin for to stand by things decided , and is the first rule of precedent . It refers to policy of
the court to abide by rulings set by decisions made in previous cases. This involves the ratio
decidendi, which is the basis of binding precedent because it stands as the reasoning behind a ruling.
Without this, the doctrine of precedent would be unable to operate. Parts of the judgment that do not
form the ratio are referred to as obiter dicta, and are merely persuasive precedent. The second rule of
