The examples of close ups that I have presented here were chosen because
they are all similar in regards to mise-en-scene – character placement and
costumes such as hair and makeup. They also have similar facial expressions
which is also why I chose these examples as my artist will have these facial
expression when these shots appear in my music video.

use different types of shots that I want to use when filming my music
video. These shots include medium close ups, long shots, extreme
close ups and an over the shoulder shot. The examples I have included
are the type of shots I am going to use in my music video. The narrative
of this music video includes a young female character who is often
made upset throughout the video. My music video will also feature a
young female who is upset throughout my video therefore I am able to
use the same shots that this video uses as they portray the girl’s
sadness clearly.
