The Victorian EraIn the 19th century, the name Victorian Era was inspired by Queen Victoria. The Victorian Era consisted of high fashion, gilded age, rich with elegance, splendor, and romance, strict etiquette, and plush or eclectic decorating styles. These descriptions were displayed in the styles of the artwork from this era. Victorianism focuses a lot on light and color to represent the dramatic events happening during that time period.
