Sport psychology is an interdisciplinary science that draws on knowledge from many related fields including biomechanics, physiology, kinesiology and psychology. It involves the study of how psychological factors affect performance and how participation in sport and exercise affect psychological and physical factors. In addition to instruction and training of psychological skills for performance improvement, applied sport psychology may include work with athletes, coaches, and parents regarding injury, rehabilitation, communication, team building, and career transitions.
This presentation about mental health, Factor Affecting the Health, Mental illness, Psychological and physiological symptoms of mental disorders,Common mental disorders (depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders, addictive behaviors and Alzheimer’s disease), prevention and promotion program, Types of behavioral therapy, Factors contribute to the achievement of mental health.
Your Life Satisfaction Score (beta) is an indicator of how you thrive in your life: it reflects how well you shape your lifestyle, habits and behaviors to maximize your overall life satisfaction along the five following dimensions:
►1. Health & fitness, reflecting your physical well-being and healthy habits;
►2. Positive emotions & gratitude, indicating how well you embrace positive emotions;
►3. Skills & expertise, measuring the ability to grow your expertise and achieve something unique;
►4. Social skills & discovery, assessing the strength of your network and your inclination to discover the world;
►5. Leadership & meaning, gauging your compassion, generosity and how much 'you are living the life of your dream'.

Originally Eysenck characterized an individual's personality on two scales. Introversion - extraversion and stable - unstable. A person may thus be
Introverted and Stable,
Introverted and Unstable,
Extraverted and Stable or
Extraverted and Unstable.
The scale, stable - unstable, measures an increasing level of neuroticism. Eysenck's term "neuroticism" does not mean that the persons actually have neurosis, only that they are more inclined to get one.
They are continuous scales, so one can of course also score in the middle, for example, only 50% unstable and only 50% introverted. Later in his career he added Psychoticism.
Learning disability can occur in combination with other intellectual problems like MR, autism etc. Learning disability has different types and symptoms, depending upon which the treatment pattern for the child is defined.

Teaching wellbeing to students means we as teachers must be well ourselves. In this workshop I share with teachers tools in Positive Psychology they can share with students as well as use for themselves. Even though the workshop is quit practical, I hope you can take away some strategies based on Seligman's PERMA Model.
This presentation outlines my personal understanding of what happiness is, based on 4 years of learning about it, and finding my own path in the world.

My basic message is, whatever hand life deals you (whether your fault or not), whatever life-changing adversity you have to endure, there are ALWAYS things that you can do, things that you still have some control over to not just live well, but live an AMAZING LIFE if you have the faith in yourself, discipline, determination, desire, intensity, inner strength, WILL to DO what you CAN do to live an amazing life filled with purpose.
For me, it was having Parkinson's disease in my 30's; I am 54 today and have very few symptoms. (Click on the Davis Phinney - Olympic medalist with PD - box on the front page of JohnBaumann.com to hear him tell my story).
This lifestyle transformation applies equally to both those affected and their caregivers.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.
Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
