Commentaries play a critical role and provides a
deeper   insight   in   appropriate   understanding,
innovative interpretation and wise application of
the concepts.

  Pravartana of Samanya and Vishesha is possible only when the
  Pratirodhaka bhavas are absent.ie Vruddhi and Hrasa does not
             occur in the presence of Virodhi bhavas

Conclusion
   Pravritti refers to establishment of Sambandha with the shareera
    and accomplishment of equilibrium of doshas and dhatus.

   Pravartana of both Samanya and Vishesha takes place
    simultaneously.

   Pravritti of both takes place only in the absence of Virodhi or
    Pratirodhaka bhavas.

   The Concept of Vaishamya gamana is the Practical form of
    Ubhaya Pravritti.

   Hence commentaries provides a deeper insight &new outlook to
    the concept and thus helps in better understanding and wise
