My view of Common Core, that is, it was designed to protect students’ from receiving an inferior education, so that no matter where they live the educational experience they encounter will be the same as other students who are in the same grade. It basically says all students should have access to the same information, especially in ELA and Math, which outlines “clear goals” (CA CCSS, n.d.) of what all students should “know and be able to do in each subject in each grade”

Support the needs of all learners
To ensure that learning occurs in classrooms district leaders must insist on hiring teachers with efficient skills in the subject area they teach. Those who teach math must be proficient for the grade level they are teaching with knowledge of more than one way to teach math concepts. The same is true for ELA. Antiquated methods for teaching must be removed and innovative technology must replace green, non-digital white boards, and black boards. Boards must be technology friendly and capable of moving to the height needed for students or teachers who require wheel chairs.

Models of Integration

This study aims to identify publication trends and recommendations for problem-based science learning research in elementary schools. We used a mixed-methods research design in which descriptive, qualitative, and bibliometric analyses were used to look at the data. We selected the sample by using the purposive sampling technique. Secondary data contains Sintaindexed research articles published in the Google Scholar database. Data were analyzed using content analysis and the VOS-Viewer. The results of the analysis show that between 2017 and 2021, 98 articles have been published with the keywords [problem-based learning] and [IPA or science learning] in national and international journals with research settings in Indonesia. Most publications occurred in 2020. The keywords that appear the most in the published articles obtained are [problem-based learning], [learning outcomes], [critical thinking skills], and [science learning]. The keyword [Tri Hita Karana], or three causes of well-being, appears, but with weak nodes. These keywords appear in many publications whose research settings are in Bali because they are ethnoscientific findings from that area. Weak nodes have several conjectures, namely that this theme has been researched to saturate or that research on this theme is still rarely carried out. This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is

- STEM is comprised of science, technology, engineering and math. This means that teaching STEM allows for students to learn different skills to use in school but in their everyday lives as well. The students apply 21st Century skills to real world scenarios to show their critical thinking skills and how well they can adapt what they have learned in the past to the problem they are solving.
- STEM utilizes standards from multiple subject areas that reinforce what the students are learning in other classes. Getting teachers to collaborate on a topic or unit allows students to see how that one topic can be looked at from different subject views.
- Cross-curricular learning allows for students to gain a deeper understanding of the lessons they are taught. Students can apply what they learn in one class into another. This reinforces the different subject areas and supports students understanding of the lesson if done properly. Students need to see the link between both subjects and how one can affect the other.
- An example of cross curricular topics is coding. Coding relies on students using their critical thinking skills, understanding how to plot points and/or shapes, variables and basic math skills such as adding or subtracting. This also allows students to apply their artistic and musical skills to some of their projects as well. At the end, the students can reflect on what they learned.
