At the end of the 2012-13 school year, three months after 1:X started at Lewisville High
School and Killian and Downing middle schools, we asked teachers what they thought
about 1:X, the drive to put more technology into student hands. Overall, teachers under-
stood the connection between 1:X and Strategic Design initiatives that resulted from
local community input to reform education. We asked,“On average, per week, how often
do students in your classroom use technology for research, productivity, media rich
content creation, and presentation? The answer: ”A lot.”Here’s what they said:
