make sure that we were able to find a suitable price in which we can budget according to our
finances. During our research, we were able to locate a suitable printing agency in which we could

The reason behind this decision was that we believed that consumers would be more likely to read a
poster that had a limited amount of writing on the poster rather than having a 'jammed' pack poster
full of writing and fewer pictures. By just stating the important points and more use of pictures
proved to be more eye catching for us and potential consumers. This could help achieve the aims of
this organisation as students and working class people could notice this poster when they shop at

For my service improvement project I thought that it would be a good idea to produce a leaflet for
patients containing information about the nursing team the leaflet would be freely available to
patients being located on the wall of the waiting room along with other information leaflets. It

The White Rose movement was a group of college students from the University of Munich who
were opposed to Nazis performing massacres. This non–violent resistance group was founded in
June of 1942 by Hans Scholl, Sophie Scholl, Christoph Probst, Alexander Schmorell, Willi Graf,
Kurt Huber, and many others. The members of the group were motivated to oppose Hitler because
of the terrors that Hans Scholl saw with his own eyes, the wrong teachings in German Youth Group,
and the 'abominable crimes' of the Nazi's tyranny. In all, the White Rose members were remarkable

Even though they knew they were risking their lives, they did as much resisting till they could not.
Most of the members were killed in the year of 1943, but the most significant members died earlier
in the year on February 22, 1943. These important leaders were Hans, Sophie, and Christoph. On the
day when they were arrested, they were caught handing out leaflets at the University of Munich, and
a university custodian, Jakob Schmid, betrayed Hans, Sophie, and Christoph by turning them into
the Gestapo. Soon after the heart–breaking arrest, many of the other members were caught and
arrested. These other participants were Kurt Huber, Willi Graf, Alexander Schmorell, and several
others not mentioned. In all, the members' blessings ran out and they were trapped and were headed
for trial. In all dissatisfaction, they were taken to the People's Court in Berlin to be trialed by head
judge, Roland Freisler. Roland Freisler ruled with no second thought that they were guilty of high
treason and were to be sentenced to death on February 22, 1943. When their trial ended, Hans Scholl
and Sophie Scholl were sent off to Stadelheim prison and were arranged one visit with their parents,

After reading the question I was confident I could answer the question correctly and provide
adequate demonstration for the solution. First step of the question was to use a fraction to find part
of the whole number. The second step subtraction using the total of the leaflets and subtracting the

The picture of Polly Toynbee in the article from the Guardian does not affect the argument and in
my opinion serves no purpose because it has no relevance to the topic of the article. The picture on
the front of the Animal Aid leaflet has the purpose of showing how animals suffer during and after
they have been put through a series of test that harm them. I think it is a very powerful image and
supports the leaflets objective. The other two images on the reverse side of the Animal Aid leaflet
have the same affect as the main image on the front. They both portray the suffering of animals
during and after harmful tests. Again I think they are very powerful and they support the objectives
of the leaflet. 'It's a crying shame' is the title for the Animal Aid. It links in with the picture on the
front because the dog seems to be crying. The two combined are very powerful and create a
sympathetic attitude for the reader so they are more likely to agree and donate. The words 'shame'
does not represent anger towards the persons who carry out the medical tests, it is a calm word so it
makes you sympathise towards the animals. It meets its purpose of making the reader pity the

My reflection on work based learning task will include an explanation of why I chose to develop
drug allergy testing leaflet; the source of the leaflet information; an analysis on the design of the
leaflet including overall readability of the information; an evaluation of the information content
contained in the leaflet based on target audience; the relevance and impact of this leaflet in
promoting patient understanding; and lastly an overview of the assignment with reference to
application to future development.
The major priority for UK National Health Service(NHS) is the effective communication with
patients and involve them in the decisions of their health care(1). To enable patients to make
informed decision, patients must be given clear and sufficient information, in a way they can
understand(2). The main essence of effective communication is by discussion tailored to individual's
situation.
Verbal information is essential in relaying information to patients, however, it has to be conducted in
balanced way, in a way patients can understand whenever possible, in a place and time when they
are best able to process and retain the information.
