Miss. Rana Alnufaie
Adjective
What is a fragment sentence?
Give an Example.
Adjectives are words that describe nouns
Example  She is pretty.
Word Order, adjectives come before
nouns
 Nouns  names of people, places, things or ideas e.g.

 Adjective  Words that describe nouns and come before the
noun.
 Look at these two sentences and how to combine them in ONE
sentence:
 I have a book. It is heavy.
 I have a heavy book.
 It is important to put the adjective before the noun not after it.
 I have a red car. “NOT” I have a car red
Let’s do Combine the Sentences
Ahmed owns a car. The car is red.

Also, Adjectives Can Come After Verb

 IS + ARE + AM
 We call the adjectives that come after the verb be,

 The Topic sentence. Tells the main idea + usually is the
first sentence

Information that supports the topic.
