ability to transfer data over a network without requiring

The Internet of Things is actually a pretty simple concept, it means
taking all the things in the world and connecting them to the inter-
net.

6. Realizing the Concept
Kevin Ashton, the Executive Director of Auto-ID Labs at MIT,
was the first to describe the Internet of Things.
Ashton who was working in supply chain optimization.
Information leaked that Google’s Street View service had not
only made 360 degree pictures but had also stored tons of data
of people’s Wi-Fi networks.
The same year, the Chinese government announced it would
make the Internet of Things a strategic priority in their Five-
Year-Plan.
