This document discusses different types of fabrics categorized by their construction, materials, width, and end use. It describes various methods of fabric production including weaving, knitting, tufting, nonwoven, braiding, lappet weaving, and swivel weaving. Students are assigned to make a report on biaxial and triaxial fabrics, which are categorized according to their construction as woven fabrics.
Fabric is a textile structure manufactured from fiber, yarn, felt, by interlacing, interloping or felting. Special fabrics are defined for those textile products which are used for non-clothing application. The fashion aspects of textile are ignored here. The performance properties are the main consideration.

Braiding is a simple form of narrow fabric construction. A braid is a rope like thing, which is made by interweaving three or more stands, strips, or lengths in a diagonally overlapping pattern. They have good elongation characteristics and are very pliable, curving around edges nicely.
Braids are divided into two types :
1. Flat braids, in the form of strips or narrow flat
tapes.
2. Round braids, tubular in form, which may be
hollow or have a center core of some material.
Braiding are produced from any of the textile fibers (cotton, jute, nylon, glass fiber, rubber .................etc), as well as from metal threads, tinsel, straw, wire or leather.
The traditional circular braiding machine contains a series of bobbins of yarn mounted on a moving track at the bottom of the machine. The braid is produced as the bobbins move in and out around the base of the machine ,much as Maypole dancer do. Interweaving yarns by braiding produces a flexible fabric; the fabric can be stretched in one direction, but it contracts in the other.
Braided fabrics braiding is more significant for Industrial fabrics than consumer textiles. Braiding is one of the major fabrication methods for composite reinforcement structures , with increasing application of electrical wires and cables, harnesses , hopes, Industrial belts and surgical sutures. This principle of fabric construction is used for making shaped articles , such as straw hats and small rugs ;narrow fabrics , such as ribbons and braids for millinery and accessory dress materials; cords and tapes, such as fish lines, show laces, wicks, parachute cords and structural components for other industrial products.
Jersey knit fabric refers to the dress fabric of weft knitted for underwear. It is smooth, clear lines, fine texture. Jersey knit fabric has good extension in vertical and horizontal direction, larger laterally than longitudinally. For good moisture absorption and permeability, it is used for the production of various styles of T-shirt and vest.

Cotton, linen, wool, & silk are all-natural and recyclable fibres found in abundance. Synthetic fibres were created because, while natural fibres served their purpose, each had its own set of limitations (such as shrinking and creasing).

Generally garment is manufactured from finished fabric. Each one of us wear clothes made up of different types of fabric. The most common types of fabric used for garemnts are Cotton voile, Cotton lawn, Rayon challis, Chambray, Denim, Double gauze, knit, Silk, Satin, Linen, Wool, Flannel etc.
Here I write some important topics. It is very helpful to a Textile Student. I think If u Study it u will learn basic knowledge about knitting Technology.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
How to Split Bills in the Odoo 17 POS ModuleCeline George
Bills have a main role in point of sale procedure. It will help to track sales, handling payments and giving receipts to customers. Bill splitting also has an important role in POS. For example, If some friends come together for dinner and if they want to divide the bill then it is possible by POS bill splitting. This slide will show how to split bills in odoo 17 POS.

c.industrial fabric-belt,tape
"Apparel" can also include things like nametags, jewelry or other stuff you
wear.
"Clothing" tends to refer to stuff traditionally made from cloth (but still
includes synthetic variants.)
The specific dividing line between the two terms is subjective and will
differ from person to person. "Apparel" is also slightly more formal

10. a. Tufting
Tufting is a type of textile weaving in which a thread is inserted on a primary base. It
is an ancient technique for making warm garments, especially mittens. After the
knitting is done, short U-shaped loops of extra yarn are introduced through the fabric
from the outside so that their ends point inwards (e.g., towards the hand inside the
mitten)
