IN YOU! With the welfare of members at
the center of their business models,
The ICA Blueprint in 2012 sets
out a path that envisions co-operatives
to be the fastest growing form of
enterprise by 2020.
These critical themes are: 1) Elevate participation within membership
and governance to a new level; 2) Position cooperatives as builders of
sustainability; 3) Build cooperative message and secure cooperative
identity; 4) Ensure supportive legal frameworks for cooperative growth; and
5) Secure reliable cooperative capital while guaranteeing member control.
The ILO recently released its final report entitle” Work for a Brighter
Future” where coops aligned themselves as a cooperative business by
putting people first before profit. Cooperatives are key actors in
achieving the actions proposed.

As people-centered enterprises characterized by democratic
control, prioritizing human development and social justice within the
workplace. Cooperatives deliver a wide range of goods and services
aligned with their members needs.
Cooperatives enable communities to own and govern joint
economic tools to solve their most central needs (production,
employment, housing, health, education, credit, insurance, etc.)
through democratic ownership and participation, thus generating
inclusive and sustainable growth, and leaving no one behind.

We would like to hear stories from members on how the cooperatives

Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) has partnered with GMA 7, Inc.
to produce film documentaries of four (4) featured cooperatives, all of which
are Gawad Parangal 2018 winners.
Let us trail blaze a transition towards a development paradigm where
no one is left behind.

Tubao 54th Annual General Assembly

  • 1. Greetings! Proudly, I extend my best wishes and congratulations to Tubao Multi Purpose Cooperative on the occasion of their 54th General Assembly with the theme "TMC BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN YOU! With the welfare of members at the center of their business models, The ICA Blueprint in 2012 sets out a path that envisions co-operatives to be the fastest growing form of enterprise by 2020. These critical themes are: 1) Elevate participation within membership and governance to a new level; 2) Position cooperatives as builders of sustainability; 3) Build cooperative message and secure cooperative identity; 4) Ensure supportive legal frameworks for cooperative growth; and 5) Secure reliable cooperative capital while guaranteeing member control. The ILO recently released its final report entitle” Work for a Brighter Future” where coops aligned themselves as a cooperative business by putting people first before profit.   • 2. As people-centered enterprises characterized by democratic control, prioritizing human development and social justice within the workplace. Cooperatives deliver a wide range of goods and services aligned with their members needs. Cooperatives enable communities to own and govern joint economic tools to solve their most central needs (production, employment, housing, health, education, credit, insurance, etc.) through democratic ownership and participation, thus generating inclusive and sustainable growth, and leaving no one behind. Let us trail blaze a transition towards a development paradigm where no one is left behind.
