- The proposed music video project will be 4 minutes long and is targeting 16-24 year olds. - Filming will take place over 5 weeks, with 2-3 weeks of editing afterwards to perfect the video before presenting it on January 13th, 2017. - The genre is hip-hop and research will be conducted on locations, props, applicable laws, and existing materials before filming begins. - The style will be generally serious but also have a sense of fun to engage the target age group with different moods throughout the storyline.

Proposed Duration: THE PROPOSED DURATION WILL BE FOUR MINUTES
Completion Deadline: The date we are expecting to complete this project by is Friday 13th January 2017 where
we would've edited and filmed all of the music video and it will be ready to present to the audience. We will be
filming for approximately 5 weeks and then for the remaining 2-3 weeks we will be editing the video by adding
in effects and different cuts so we can perfect any errors so when we present it to the audience they will be able
to experience the video full in the way we would like them to.
Genre: The genre of this song is Hip-Hop style and we have chosen this because this genre is popular among
the generation of people we are aiming to attract.
Target Audience: The target audience we have chosen to aim for is 16-24 year olds as we think this song isn't
suitable for any younger ages as the content of the song talks about some more adult themes.
Background:
The reason we are creating the music video is that the song we have chosen is popular, we think this song
deserves a video so the audience can get a visual understanding of the song, therefore we think the song would
become more popular. The aim is to make the audience enjoy the song even more than they already do and
because it is suitable for the ages between 16 and 24, we think that the video will give them a deeper meaning
to the song.
Research: Before the filming we will be searching locations we will be going to, we will be looking up the props
(costumes) because we want the outfits to suit the genre of the video so it looks good,however, we will have to
research if there’s any applicable laws before doing the music video ( terms of service, fair use etc.) and finally
we will ne to research any existing material so we can do our music video the right way with the right
equipment. Researching is a very important need in music video because it gives us the advantage to look up
things that we need for the music video.
Synopsis: Think of a blurb on the back of a book... Give a brief explanation of what is going to happen in your
video, from the start to the end.( i dont know whats gonna happen on the video so i can’t do it ( adam)

Style: Serious? Funny? Sarcastic? Sad? What moods are going to be present within the videos? What is the
atmosphere of the video going to be?
The style of this video will be serious but also will have a sense of fun. We personally feel that the song
combined with the video would make the age group we have chosen gives them an excited mood. However
throughout the storyline we will be showing different moods to it looks a little bit entertaining, not just the
same style because will be boring for the audience because it wont suit their ages.
