songs and shows her body out for everyone to see which attracts the male audience. Also
more people will buy her music videos. But Goodwin last theory is that Andrew thinks that it
was not uncommon to recognise the lyrics of a song because the video could say nothing
about the words in the songs so the audience would be confused and not get the song. For
artist to make a music video it’s to make the audience more interested and so they can
follow what’s going on. Lastly if the male gaze is shown that’s what gets people to buy and
more money is made because to show nudity attracts the audience. Some people are
different and don’t go just for what people

sad story and that at the end when Stan
brother Michael takes his hood off in the
funeral the women which I would think it his
mum is in shock. I think it’s because of his
hair its blonde just like Stan and Eminem and
that represents something because Stan and Michael are both the same as Eminem and the
whole song is ad and depressed and dull. It’s a very popular song by Eminem its one of his
top songs. The video is unconventional for a hip hop music video because there all wearing
white and then for the funeral they wear black, black shows death and evil and white show
madness or mental.

4. Katy Perry a nerdy teenager who becomes the life of the party
The genre is pop but it’s based on a time in
the 80s or 90s. The location looks like a movie
at the start because it shows the street of a
few houses with massive houses, the location
looks like a rich area and Katy Perry house is
huge as she had a massive a party. There is a
really popular boy that comes to the party
that shows his body off to the girls but then
again he can get any girl he wants. He seems
very popular but also rude as he gives a dirty look at Katy Perry until she changes in to
tighter clothing and something that makes her stand out and look good and then the boy
goes for her.
People start to take notice of her because she
stands out in the party and she actually looks
like she can become more popular. But the
whole video looks like a dream she is in nerdy
clothes at the start and at the end she wakes
up in her bed with her nerdy clothes on and
she is confused about what’s going on and
what happened then she blames it on her
friend Rebecca. The words in the song is given so clearly the video and the music is perfect
together the words are about a party on Friday night and in the music video it goes well
together the only thing that is confusing is because its nonlinear because straight away at
the beginning the house is trashed and they didn’t go from the start of the party beginning

song and the video seems like 80s and 90s

also a boy nerd and you would thing that
they both go well together because they
both have big glasses and they are both un
popular until Katy Perry changes in to
something better and makes her look hot
for the audience to get attracted and also
for her to become more popular and not get
the nerd get the muscle good body and
popular. Thoughtout the music video
the nerd has fantasies about Katy
Perry and them in love because he
sees her as a nerd like himself so the
audience would think they go well
together. The nerd also shows that
people with big muscle isn’t always
the one to win as the nerd punches
the big popular muscle guy that
could make the nerd more popular
because he thought it was wrong for
the big muscle man to squeeze Katy Perry’s bum
and he got jealous.
There are a lot of close ups to Katy Perry when she
walks down the stairs they zoom in to her face
and then she makes a big smile to get people’s
attention and for people to think different
because it’s such a big change from a nerd to
