- eLearning market growth, including LMSs is driven by developing economies in Asia, Latin America, Africa The LMS market alone is expected to grow from $5.22 billion this year to $15.72 billion by 2021* LMS systems are getting adopted aggressively in developing countries with S.Africa, India, Mexico, Brazil driving the growth LMS can be created on a common platform and customization can be applied by Country/ location on top of this common platform
- Develop a common LMS core with local customization across geographies that should work across all devices Objective - tap the demand for LMS in schools across developing countries Pilot Roll out in 6 months for first set of schools in a country, with other country roll outs happening once in two months after the pilot Reuse of open source tools, faster time to market, pilots to test ground and eventually, repeat the successful pilot to roll out aggressively across geographies
- Implemented Material Design UI Use of Electron framework to run mobile apps on Desktops Implemented offline reader capability for the learning content using PouchDB Multi-linguistic support in English , Chinese, Spanish, Turkish, Italian and African Multichannel access via desktop, mobiles and tablets
