During the COVID-19 pandemic, many turned to emergency eLearning using existing digital content and platforms. As we move forward, pedagogy and learning objectives developed by subject matter experts should be combined with learning science principles, instructional design processes, and design thinking to enhance technology-enhanced learning. Key considerations include cognitive load theory, spaced practice, mastery training, the 11 instructional principles, blending content with engagement, and using usability testing and action research. Faculty development and digital literacy as well as communities of practice and interest will be important for digital scholarship.

Implementation of Virtual Parks & Recreation Systems for Higher Education
