This document announces a 5-day training workshop on cloud computing and big data from June 9-13, 2014. The workshop aims to help university lecturers and PhD students understand emerging technologies and revise curricula. Attendees will gain hands-on experience using Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, and Hadoop through workshops. The agenda covers technology trends, cloud concepts, virtualization, NoSQL databases, and MapReduce on Amazon EMR.
