2. The Woods Used The wood that they used came from coniferous trees such as. Cedar Pine Cypress Fir Trees like Oak and Chestnut were used to make furniture and fixtures.

3. Inside Walls And Materials Most of the walls were made of paper these walls could slide and were called shoji.

4. How This House Would Work In Caldwell County This house wouldn’t work that great in Caldwell county because of our change in seasons is so great and paper walls would not work that great in snow. Also in traditional Japanese houses were heated by An open fire in the middle of the living room and They also cooked on the fire.
