This risk assessment identifies three potential hazards for a student documentary filming project at a shopping centre: 1) interruptions from people crowding could disrupt filming, 2) equipment left unattended poses injury risks, and 3) filming in crowded areas could cause chaos. Control measures include only filming when the area is less crowded, closely monitoring equipment, and selecting filming spots away from crowds. Staff will be informed to help ensure safety and one team member will monitor equipment if left unattended briefly.

1.Ensure that you are not filming when
Touchwood isn’t crowded.
2.Make sure that you do not leave the equipment
lying around unattained. Make sure wires aren’t
lying around.
3.Be careful when filming, ensure the area you
are filming your documentary isn’t too crowded.
This is because if you film in a crowded area it
can cause chaos.
