A touch switches apparatus for detecting
the presence of an object such as a human appendage,
the apparatus having a switch and a local control circuit
connected to the switch and to a
controlled device. The control circuit is preferably in integrated circ
uit form Electronic on / off switch for a load connected to an
ac supply network, including a controlled semi conductor
switch connected in a series circuit with the load, control circuit.
This kind of sensor switch is suitable for
making touch operated bells, buzzers of small
toys which operate for a small time and then
switch off automatically.
The input impedance of the trigger is very high
and the touch sensor switch can be triggered by
the voltage induced in the human body. The
relay is a 12 V DC relay operating at currents
less than 200 mA.
Just need to touch the metal plate and the relay
gets energized and is kept in this state for
about 100 seconds, then it's released.
CIRCUIT DESIGN
 Those blink things. A must
have for power indication, pin
status, opto - electronic
sensors, and fun binky
displays.
 This is a basic 5mm LED with
a green lens. It has a typical
forward voltage of 2.0V and a
rated forward current of 20mA.
 Green and solid light
indicates that the battery is
charged and that the sensor is
switched on, but not
connected.
PIEZO - BUZZERS
•sound generators
•Piezo buzzers With driver
circuit
•80 up to 85 up Low
current consumption
•Clear and intense sound
•Built - in drive circuit
•Extended operating voltage range
9V BATTERY
 9v battery is a common size of battery,
that was introduced for the early transistor
radios.
 It has a rectangular prism shape with
rounded edges and a polarized snap connector
at the top.
PRINCIPLE
A touch sensor works like a switch, where
when there’s contact, touch, or pressure on
the surface of a touch sensor, it opens up an
electrical circuit and allows currents to flow
through it.
These sensors are sensitive to any pressure
or force applied or touch. The principle of
touch is similar to that of a switch. When the
switch is closed, the current flows otherwise
there is no chance of the current to flow.
Similarly, when the touch sensor senses the
touch or proximity is captured then it acts
like a closed switch otherwise it acts as an
open switch. These sensors are also known
as ‘Tactile Sensors’.
•It will be damage if the input DC voltage go
over 15V .
•Unexpected alert ,i.e accidental alarm
•Doesn't provide wireless control to system
•The switch can be used for switching AC as well
as DC.
•It is best to use a 9V12V DC regulated or
unregulated power supply.
•It is used in various applications due to its
quicker response .
•Low cost
