Context for the development of the HPET Questionnaire

                                                                                   TLC HPET QUESTIONNAIRE VALIDATION STUDY
   1. We are fascinated and passionate about teams attaining a sustainable
      high performing state.
   2. We are passionate about seeking new ways of looking at challenges
and seek to develop new thinking and innovative models and
      frameworks.
   3. We believed that we could develop a new framework for
understanding, diagnosing and assisting teams with a vehicle for
      attaining a high performing state.
   4. We went about developing a High Performing Elite Teams (HPET)
framework based on an analysis of the last ten years of research into
      high performing teams.
   5. Finally, once we had developed the model, we developed a diagnostic
tool to assess the high performing state of teams – the TLC HPET
      Questionnaire.

 1. Age, years in the team & years in the profession have no significant
impact on the performance of the team, but have a small impact on
    competence (as would be expected).
 2. Clarity around accountabilities and responsibilities is significantly
correlated with Q1, Q2, Q3 and the overall HPET score.
 3. [Team members are given permission and feel comfortable holding
each other accountable to the agreed way of working] most highly
correlated with the overall HPET score
 4. To achieve a High Performing Team, you need to take care of all four
    Quadrants
 5. Effective conflict resolution is CRITICAL!!

Context for thedevelopment of the HPET Questionnaire TLC HPET QUESTIONNAIRE VALIDATION STUDY 1. We are fascinated and passionate about teams attaining a sustainable high performing state. 2. We are passionate about seeking new ways of looking at challenges and seek to develop new thinking and innovative models and frameworks. 3. We believed that we could develop a new framework for understanding, diagnosing and assisting teams with a vehicle for attaining a high performing state. 4.
