years old due to the civil war occurring in his home country of Sierra Leone which first began in
1991. After Ishmael s home village of Mogbwemo was attacked by rebels he was separated from
his family, forcing him to flee. Without a home or a family to take care of him, Ishmael then
spent months wandering with a group of other boys who had been displaced by the war. While
taking refuge in a village protected by the government army, Ishmael was forced to fight for the

People should not have to worry about whether their purchased food, food that was approved by

emphasizes that strategy entails the use of threat and force to achieve policy objectives. Given
the unfortunate centrality of war to world events, strategy becomes a significant aspect in
providing a theory of success. The perennial popularity of books on military and application of
works of wisdom in the use of force today is unequivocal. Particularly, books that generally focus
of the theory of strategy, studies with varied meanings for all purposes, technologies, places, and
times are increasingly rare. In the past 2,400 years, only 3 classic works are significant on this
subject and no more than five have an enduring value (Rousseau, 2011). Sun Tzu s classic work on
The Art of Waris one such classic works basing on strategic theory that has implications for all
purposes, places, times, and technologies. Sun Tzu wrote his book in China in ca. 400 BC during
the era of Warring States, 403 221 BC (Rousseau, 2011, p. 79). Henri de Jomini s The Art of War

Imagine a world where laws and rules were never in place. Citizens would run rampant and people
would commit crimes without any consequence for their actions. Now imagine a world where
freedom was non existent. Everyone s actions and behaviors would coincide with one another, as if
they were robots. Straying from the extremes, H. L. Mencken an American writer wrote that the
average man would rather be safe than free. To completely understand his statement, you must
look at a specific word. The average man. H. L. Mencken is right because people would rather
have laws to protect themselves, people want to live comfortable lives, and the people who diverge
from what society tends to do are more than the average person.
In America, and a large majority of countries, you are born with a little bit of freedom. Freedom
is offered in schools and homes. Once people grow up, and earn their freedom, they are allowed

power stations have been utilising the combustion of fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas or
