5 Ways Influencers Help You Sell (Social Selling)Traackr
By connecting people to people, the social web created an ecosystem for consumers, users, employees to talk to one another, exchange ideas, transact, and organize at a scale we have yet to grasp. In this collaborative web, ruled by the social customer, modern sales professionals need to reinvent the Art of Selling to incorporate social into their selling strategy.
To bring social into your selling process, you need to build a foundation for success. Much like a modern marketer will set up a process for creating content that educates their audience, a social selling expert will find ways to share useful content at meaningful moments with their potential buyers. Your goal will be to establish and nurture a strong personal brand and find the right types of content to share. Building up your social selling foundation won’t happen overnight, but when the effects kick in, you’ll be in a strategic position very difficult to unseat.
Influencers can accelerate your ramp-up and help you get the most out of your efforts. Here are a few ways influencers can help you excel at social selling.

Driving Measurable Influence With Emerging Social PlatformsRustin Banks
Running a successful influencer marketing program involves more than just asking people with lots of fans to give a product review or mention your brand. Consumer purchases are highly influenced by the people they follow on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Vine.
Driving Measurable Influence on Emerging Social Platforms covers:
How to identify the right content creators and what platforms work best for your brand.
How to expand brand engagement and use innovative ways to share your content.
How to utilize these emerging social influencers to accomplish your marketing objectives.
TapInfluence and guest Ryan Skinner of Forrester Research, Inc. discuss reasons why only one in three marketers say they are effective at content marketing, how to avoid their mistakes, and steps to start building a blueprint for your content marketing strategy.
Marketers now understand that content creation and distribution are not isolated initiatives. Crafting a successful content engagement strategy means understanding how consumers differ based on social platform and tailoring that content appropriately. For instance, Facebook is the best way to reach women between 18 and 29, and success requires instant responsiveness and availability. Tumblr and YouTube are where Millennials hang out, and they don’t rely as much on real-time engagement. Visual content gets more engagement on Pinterest and Instagram, and Twitter is where most people go to complain. How do brands optimize each channel and customize the distribution of content? This is the battleground that will heat up in 2014.
Tap Into the Social Content Stream; Part 2Rustin Banks
Part Two of our series where we dive into Social Content Marketing.
The way brands connect with consumers is changing dramatically. Reaching your target customer has become increasingly difficult as their attention is divided across traditional mediums, the web, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other social platforms. The volume of content that comes through these social streams makes it difficult to cut through, but brands have the opportunity to join the conversation and capture their attention through collaborative social content.
Content, now more than ever, is the currency exchange in our social world and it's being used by brands and consumers alike to tell the story of who they are. But when brands create this content strategically, it can also be used to move consumers through the decision journey - to build awareness, to get on the consideration list, drive purchase, or build loyalty between a brand and a customer.
We believe that when brands work with social content creators, they can leverage that creativity, trust, personal connection, and together, produce compelling content that cuts through the clutter and grabs our attention in the social stream.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
