CONSTITUTION
• “ The state recognizes the vital role of the
youth in nation building and shall promote and
protect their physical, moral, spiritual,
intellectual and social being. It shall inculcate
in the youth patriotism and nationalism and
encourage their involvement in public and civil
affairs”.
REPUBLIC ACT 9344
• It is also known as “ Juvenile Justice and
Welfare Act of 2006”.
• This act signed on May 15, 2006, exempts
children 18 years old and below from criminal
liability.
• This will be only subjected to an intervention
program

NO.7610
• It also known as “ The Special Protection of
Children Against Child Abuse”.
• It shall be the policy of the State to protect
and rehabilitate children gravely threatened or
endangered by circumstances which affect or
will affect their survival and normal
development and over which they have no
control.
REPUBLIC ACT NO.7658
• “An Act Prohibiting the Employment of
Children Below Fifteen (15) Years of Age”.
• This act prohibits the hiring of the children as
workers
THE RIGHTS OF THE
CHILD
• This is the landmark international legal
instrument that codifies and enshrines the
rights of children.
• Children's rights include the right to health,
education, family life, play and recreation, an
adequate standard of living and to be
protected from abuse and harm.
FILIPINO CHILDREN:
CHILD 21
• Is a strategic framework for planning
programs and interventions that promote and
safegurad the rights of Filipino children.
• It puts greater emphasis on the needs of
especially vulnerable children and puts into
sharper focus the rights of all children to
special protection

8049
• It is also known as “The Anti-Hazing Act of
1995”.
• An act Regulating Hazing and other Forms of
Initiation Rites in Fraternities, Sororities , and
other Organizations and Providing Penalties
Therefore.

8353
• This Act shall be known as "The Anti-Rape
Law of 1997.“
• Leticia- Ramos Shahani was also the principal
author of Republic Act 8353 or the Anti-Rape
Law which reclassified rape as a crime
against persons, meaning it is no longer
considered as a private crime. Before this,
rape was considered as merely a crime
against chastity.

Is a hereditary disease that is caused by
the lack of a liver enzyme require to digest
galactose
CONGENITAL ADRENAL
HYPERPLASIA(CAH)
Pertains to a set of inherited disorders that
occur because of excess production of male
hormones.
PHENYLKETONURIA
(PKU)
Is a hereditary disease caused by the lack of a liver enzyme
required to digest phenylalanine.
GLUCOSE -6 PHOSPHATE
DEHYDROGENASE
(G6PD)DEFICIENCY
The most common genetic enzyme that can cause
premature destruction of red blood cells .

SECTION 13, ARTICLE 1 OF THE PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION • “ The state recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social being. It shall inculcate in the youth patriotism and nationalism and encourage their involvement in public and civil affairs”.
  • 3. REPUBLIC ACT 9344 • It is also known as “ Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006”. • This act signed on May 15, 2006, exempts children 18 years old and below from criminal liability. • This will be only subjected to an intervention program
  • 4. REPUBLIC ACT NO.7610 • It also known as “ The Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse”. • It shall be the policy of the State to protect and rehabilitate children gravely threatened or endangered by circumstances which affect or will affect their survival and normal development and over which they have no control.
  • 5. REPUBLIC ACT NO.7658 • “An Act Prohibiting the Employment of Children Below Fifteen (15) Years of Age”. • This act prohibits the hiring of the children as workers
  • 6. THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD • This is the landmark international legal instrument that codifies and enshrines the rights of children. • Children's rights include the right to health, education, family life, play and recreation, an adequate standard of living and to be protected from abuse and harm.
  • 7. FILIPINO CHILDREN: CHILD 21 • Is a strategic framework for planning programs and interventions that promote and safegurad the rights of Filipino children. • It puts greater emphasis on the needs of especially vulnerable children and puts into sharper focus the rights of all children to special protection
  • 8. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8049 • It is also known as “The Anti-Hazing Act of 1995”. • An act Regulating Hazing and other Forms of Initiation Rites in Fraternities, Sororities , and other Organizations and Providing Penalties Therefore.
  • 9. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8353 • This Act shall be known as "The Anti-Rape Law of 1997.“ • Leticia- Ramos Shahani was also the principal author of Republic Act 8353 or the Anti-Rape Law which reclassified rape as a crime against persons, meaning it is no longer considered as a private crime. Before this, rape was considered as merely a crime against chastity.

Shay Cullen • an Irish Catholic priest who has worked as missionary in the Philippines • He was the founder of the People’s Recovery Empowerment Develop Assistance Foundation Inc. which has been providing help to street children and rehabilitating and educating them to be productive citizens.

  • 16. PHENYLKETONURIA (PKU) Is a hereditary disease caused by the lack of a liver enzyme required to digest phenylalanine.
  • 17. GLUCOSE -6 PHOSPHATE DEHYDROGENASE (G6PD)DEFICIENCY The most common genetic enzyme that can cause premature destruction of red blood cells .
