OBJECTIVES
• Upon completion of this lesson, the
students will understand the concepts
behind motivating employees to create a
pleasant and productive workforce.
• The students will understand the
importance of motivational theories as
they relate to implementing the work in an
organization.
Guide Questions:
1. What kind of problem does the boy struggling
through which affected his academic
performance?
2. How did the teacher help the boy to change his
perspective in life in spite of the tragedy
happened to him?
3. How did the boy change his attitude/behavior?
4. What lesson have you learned from the video?

INTRINSIC MOTIVATION

own sake and personal reward such as
curiosity, passion, interest,
achievement
DEFINITION OF MOTIVATION
Let’s Play
Direction:
1.Call 9 students to participate in the game.
2.Get 2 meta cards from the teacher.
3.Categorize them whether they’re under
intrinsic motivation or extrinsic motivation.
4. Post the intrinsic motivations on the left
side and the extrinsic motivation on the right
side of the board.
5. Work as fast as you can.

Theories of Motivation

  • 2. OBJECTIVES • Upon completion of this lesson, the students will understand the concepts behind motivating employees to create a pleasant and productive workforce. • The students will understand the importance of motivational theories as they relate to implementing the work in an organization.
  • 3. Guide Questions: 1. What kind of problem does the boy struggling through which affected his academic performance? 2. How did the teacher help the boy to change his perspective in life in spite of the tragedy happened to him? 3. How did the boy change his attitude/behavior? 4. What lesson have you learned from the video?
  • 4. What does a student want to get out of studying? What does an employee want to get out of working?
  • 5. INTRINSIC MOTIVATION Motivated to perform an activity for its own sake and personal reward such as curiosity, passion, interest, achievement
  • 7. Let’s Play Direction: 1.Call 9 students to participate in the game. 2.Get 2 meta cards from the teacher. 3.Categorize them whether they’re under intrinsic motivation or extrinsic motivation. 4. Post the intrinsic motivations on the left side and the extrinsic motivation on the right side of the board. 5. Work as fast as you can.
