The Yardbirds were a British rock band formed in 1963 that had several lineup changes over the years. They are best known for having guitarists Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck in the band early in their careers. The Yardbirds had some hit singles in the mid-1960s and sold over a million copies of their first live album before the band eventually broke up in 1968 as members left to pursue other projects, with Jimmy Page going on to form Led Zeppelin.
