This document describes the characteristics of a savanna biome. It is a hot, dry environment for most of the year where plants and animals struggle to find water. The most common vegetation is acacia trees and bushes, which are dispersed due to the dry conditions. A variety of iconic African animals are also mentioned, including lions, zebras, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, gazelles, ostriches, rhinos, and hippopotamuses, all of which must adapt to the scarce water resources of the savanna.
