R-E-S-P-E-C-T: a commonly used word. It is often captured in corporate core values and is a
crucial component of any truly engaged team. Being an abstract concept, respect is not easy to
put into practice, and, can be confused with other attributes.
The R Factor is an evidence-based 2-day workshop that transforms the notion of genuine
respect into a concrete framework that will effectively operationalize respect in your workplace.
The first day of this hands-on workshop is dedicated to understanding respect in a fresh
operational way and to examining specific, time tested skills to demonstrate genuine respect in
the workplace. On the second day, this knowledge is applied and practiced in a series of team-
relevant case studies so that every participant can directly apply the learning with confidence.
The R Factor has been successfully delivered to hundreds of participants in Malaysia. The
response is consistently positive. After experiencing the workshop themselves, managers
register their teams to share the learning. Typical feedback is, for example, a manager
immediately identifying marked improvements in a team’s engagement after the workshop, and,
team members observing a more people-oriented post-workshop boss.
