This document compares Western and Islamic societies. Western societies are characterized by liberalism, separation of religion and public life, individualism, secularism, and materialism. Islamic society is formed according to divine principles and emphasizes the concepts of Ummah (global Muslim community) and believers supporting one another. Key aspects of Islamic society discussed include viewing Allah as pivotal, tracing social values to the Quran, promoting equality and justice, collective responsibility for orphans through families not orphanages, centralized zakat collection and welfare systems, and mosques serving as community centers. The conclusion argues an Islamic society can effectively resolve conflicts by balancing religious ideals and practicality.
