Studies Show Humic Substances Can
Humic substances have
tremendous untapped potential
to positively impact biology
Using chemical extraction substantially reduces
the effectiveness of humic substances.
Many humic acid products are
chemically extracted which
denatures the components.
Naturally processed products deliver
greater performance and results.
AEA products are not chemically
extracted, and thus retain the
bioactive components.
AEA’s HumaCarb
HumaCarb contains all three
humic substances, humic
acid, fulvic acid, and humin.
HumaCarb™
This product is intended for use according to an approved organic system plan. All materials
comply with the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) rules for certified organic crop
production. Verify with your organic certifier before using.
Guaranteed Analysis:
CONTAINS NONPLANT FOOD INGREDIENTS
Soil Amending Ingredients:
10% Humic acid (derived from humalite)
90% Total Other Ingredients
Purpose: HumaCarbTM is a soil conditioner and may aid in micronutrient uptake.
APPLICATION RATES AND TIMING Thisproductisintendedforsoilapplicationsandshouldonlybeusedin
accordancewith the manufacturer’s directions.
Side dress: Mix with liquid nitrogen fertilizer at 3% of solution.
Small Grains: Apply up to 2 quarts per acre at late tilling or as needed.
Vegetables and Fruits: Apply up to 1 quart per acre per week, starting at transplant or greening.
Handling: Store in a cool dry area out of direct sunlight. This product has been tested to store safely down to
35°F. Crystallization or sedimentation may occur below 35°F or above 95°F. Shake or stir before use to
dissolve any residue on the bottom of the container. Do not pre-mix or store in diluted form. Always use
product within 8 hours of diluting.
When tank mixing: A jar test is recommended: Prepare a small amount of the proposed mix and allow it to
stand in a glass jar overnight observing for signs of incompatibility. Ideally, a sample of the test mix should
then be sprayed on a small area of the target crop and observed for 3 to 4 days for any phytotoxic effects.
Agitation is the key to usability of this product. AEA products involve tiny particles which are far too small to
clog filters; however, if they are inadequately diluted or agitated before and during application there is a
possibility of problems with spray equipment. Consider using an eductor nozzle to agitate prior to use.
Compatibility and/or performance cannot be guaranteed when combined with other products.Density: 9.20 lbs. per gallon at 68oF

HumaCarb™
humic acid and fertilizer stabilizer
HumaCarb™ is a natural concentrate of humic substances derived from humalite deposits,
designed to enhance nutrient absorbtion and reduce the need for fertilizer applications.
Stabilizes nitrogen and phosphorus1
Enhances nutrient uptake2
Chelates plant nutrients add for improved
efficiency of applied fertilizers3
Improves soil conditions for better overall
plant mass4
where & how to use
Liquid concentrate should be tank mixed
with liquid fertilizers as 3% of the total
solution.
Non-synthetic humic substances have a
low pH (4 - 4.5) and can be tank mixed with
most fertilizers.*
Works especially well on lighter, sandier
soils or in areas of greater than average
rain fall.
HumaCarb™ performs well on a variety of
crops, especially on forages and soybeans,
as well as fruits and vegetables. May be
mixed with liquid manure to stabilize
nitrogen and reduce odor while
manure.
This product is suitable for use under NOP.
using.
* A jar test should be conducted when mixing
HumaCarb™ with any other product.
1. Depending on the form of fertilizer applied, nitrogen may become a structural component of humic substances as a stable organic material, preventing it from leaching
through the soil. (Haworth, 1971; Stevenson, 1982; Haynes and Swift, 1990; Kelly and Stevenson, 1996) In their natural state, humic substances contain anywhere from 1%
to 5% nitrogen. Reduction of nitrogen application (Day, et al, 2000, Fataltah, et al, 2001)
et al, 2004) and worldwide (Karr, 2001)
nutritional supplement makeup
HumaCarb™ is derived from a complete humalite ore
which contains the humic acid, fulvic acid, and humin
compounds found in these deposits.
Humic acids are usually extracted from leonardite
ore in a strong alkali solution generally using
sodium or potassium hydroxides. Compared to
leonardite products, humalite contains less ash, fewer
heavy metals and much more humic and fulvic acids.
Unlike other humic acids available on the market,
HumaCarb™ is produced using a process that
preserves all the natural properties of the humic
100% all natural mined humalite.
application rates and timing
Usual application rates are 2-3 quarts per acre.
increased application.
HumaCarb™ should be tank mixed with liquid
fertilizers at a 3% solution.
Check the label on the product or consult your
local AEA representative.
While this product can be used individually, it
has been designed to be used along with other
complementary products as part of an overall
fertility program that will produce the highest
quality results.

  • 5. Humic substances have tremendous untapped potential to positively impact biology
  • 6. Using chemical extraction substantially reduces the effectiveness of humic substances. Many humic acid products are chemically extracted which denatures the components.
  • 7. Naturally processed products deliver greater performance and results.
  • 8. AEA products are not chemically extracted, and thus retain the bioactive components.
  • 9. AEA’s HumaCarb HumaCarb contains all three humic substances, humic acid, fulvic acid, and humin. HumaCarb™ This product is intended for use according to an approved organic system plan. All materials comply with the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) rules for certified organic crop production. Verify with your organic certifier before using. Guaranteed Analysis: CONTAINS NONPLANT FOOD INGREDIENTS Soil Amending Ingredients: 10% Humic acid (derived from humalite) 90% Total Other Ingredients Purpose: HumaCarbTM is a soil conditioner and may aid in micronutrient uptake. APPLICATION RATES AND TIMING Thisproductisintendedforsoilapplicationsandshouldonlybeusedin accordancewith the manufacturer’s directions. This product has been tested to store safely down to 35°F. Crystallization or sedimentation may occur below 35°F or above 95°F. Shake or stir before use to dissolve any residue on the bottom of the container. Do not pre-mix or store in diluted form. Always use product within 8 hours of diluting. When tank mixing: A jar test is recommended: Prepare a small amount of the proposed mix and allow it to stand in a glass jar overnight observing for signs of incompatibility. Ideally, a sample of the test mix should then be sprayed on a small area of the target crop and observed for 3 to 4 days for any phytotoxic effects. Agitation is the key to usability of this product. AEA products involve tiny particles which are far too small to clog filters; however, if they are inadequately diluted or agitated before and during application there is a possibility of problems with spray equipment. Consider using an eductor nozzle to agitate prior to use. Compatibility and/or performance cannot be guaranteed when combined with other products.Density: 9.20 lbs. per gallon at 68oF F2315 Information regarding the contents and levels of metals in this product is available on the internet at http://www.aapfco.org/metals.html Net Contents: 1 gallon (3.78L) 9.2 lbs. 5 gallon (18.92L) 46 lbs. 30 gallon (113.56L) 276 lbs. 55 gallon (208.2L) 506 lbs. 275 gallon (1041L) 2530 lbs. HumaCarb™ humic acid and fertilizer stabilizer HumaCarb™ is a natural concentrate of humic substances derived from humalite deposits, designed to enhance nutrient absorbtion and reduce the need for fertilizer applications. Stabilizes nitrogen and phosphorus1 Enhances nutrient uptake2 Chelates plant nutrients add for improved efficiency of applied fertilizers3 Improves soil conditions for better overall plant mass4 where & how to use Liquid concentrate should be tank mixed with liquid fertilizers as 3% of the total solution. Non-synthetic humic substances have a low pH (4 - 4.5) and can be tank mixed with most fertilizers.* Works especially well on lighter, sandier soils or in areas of greater than average rain fall. HumaCarb™ performs well on a variety of crops, especially on forages and soybeans, as well as fruits and vegetables. May be mixed with liquid manure to stabilize nitrogen and reduce odor while manure. This product is suitable for use under NOP. using. * A jar test should be conducted when mixing HumaCarb™ with any other product. 1. Depending on the form of fertilizer applied, nitrogen may become a structural component of humic substances as a stable organic material, preventing it from leaching through the soil. (Haworth, 1971; Stevenson, 1982; Haynes and Swift, 1990; Kelly and Stevenson, 1996) In their natural state, humic substances contain anywhere from 1% to 5% nitrogen. Reduction of nitrogen application (Day, et al, 2000, Fataltah, et al, 2001) et al, 2004) and worldwide (Karr, 2001) nutritional supplement makeup HumaCarb™ is derived from a complete humalite ore which contains the humic acid, fulvic acid, and humin compounds found in these deposits. Humic acids are usually extracted from leonardite ore in a strong alkali solution generally using sodium or potassium hydroxides. Compared to leonardite products, humalite contains less ash, fewer heavy metals and much more humic and fulvic acids. Unlike other humic acids available on the market, HumaCarb™ is produced using a process that preserves all the natural properties of the humic 100% all natural mined humalite. application rates and timing Usual application rates are 2-3 quarts per acre. increased application. HumaCarb™ should be tank mixed with liquid fertilizers at a 3% solution. Check the label on the product or consult your local AEA representative. While this product can be used individually, it has been designed to be used along with other complementary products as part of an overall fertility program that will produce the highest quality results.
