To Accelerate Regenerative Agriculture, Use Foliars
to Increase Baseline Brix Readings Over Time
-A well-designed foliar will spike brix levels in the plant
-As the plant gains vitality over time, the spike in brix is retained longer
-Repeated foliar applications increase baseline brix levels to the point of
sustainability
-The brix drop from the peak can occur as rapidly as 3 days or as long as 6 weeks

Prior to a widespread application of
a foliar spray, check the
performance of the tank mix by
applying on a small test plot and
testing for a brix level spike 2-4
hours later.
Use Sap Analysis before and
after application to measure
plant nutritional integrity.
Designing a Tank Mix
-clean water
-spreader/sticker/surfactant
-plant nutrients
-plant biostimulant (ex. seaweed)
-microbial biostimulant (ex. fulvic acid)
-microbial inoculant (ex. Micro 5000)
Every foliar application should

Use proper mixing sequence to
get the greatest response from
biostimulants and microbials.
What is Clean Water?
Clean water contains less
than 70 ppm (5 grains) total
hardness. Bicarbonates and
carbonates are the primary
concern.
Water with greater than
150 ppm (10 grains) total
hardness can reduce
product performance as
much as 70%.

evening or early morning.

Love and Gratitude To Accelerate Regenerative Agriculture, Use Foliars to Increase Baseline Brix Readings Over Time -A well-designed foliar will spike brix levels in the plant -As the plant gains vitality over time, the spike in brix is retained longer -Repeated foliar applications increase baseline brix levels to the point of sustainability -The brix drop from the peak can occur as rapidly as 3 days or as long as 6 weeks 20 12 3 Brix Time
  • 3. Testing Foliar Performance Prior to a widespread application of a foliar spray, check the performance of the tank mix by applying on a small test plot and testing for a brix level spike 2-4 hours later. Use Sap Analysis before and after application to measure plant nutritional integrity.
  • 4. Designing a Tank Mix -clean water -spreader/sticker/surfactant -plant nutrients -plant biostimulant (ex. seaweed) -microbial biostimulant (ex. fulvic acid) -microbial inoculant (ex. Micro 5000) Every foliar application should contain:
  • 5. Tank Mixing Sequence 1.clean water 2.pesticides 3.plant nutrients 4.plant biostimulants 5.microbial biostimulants 6.microbial inoculant 7. spreader/sticker/surfactant Use proper mixing sequence to get the greatest response from biostimulants and microbials.
  • 6. What is Clean Water? Clean water contains less than 70 ppm (5 grains) total hardness. Bicarbonates and carbonates are the primary concern. Water with greater than 150 ppm (10 grains) total hardness can reduce product performance as much as 70%. ANY PRODUCT.

  • 15. When foliar applications are applied every 10-14 days, optimal EC range is below 3800. When foliar applications are applied every 30-40 days, EC range is not a concern. Foliar Solution Characteristics #2: EC
  • 16. Spray solutions should contain small amounts of a material with a high point of deliquescence such as Sea Crop, magnesium chloride, potassium nitrate, or calcium nitrate. Foliar Solution Characteristics #3: Point of Deliquescence
  • 17. Optimal Timing Do Not Apply: -During rainfall -While there is heavy dew -When leaf surfaces temperature exceeds 78 F Apply foliar applications in the evening or early morning.
  • 18. Product Coefficient of Performance - Unhealthy plants = strong product performance - More product is required - Response is short-lived - Requires more frequent repeat applications Product CoP Plant performance - Healthy plants = exceptional product performance - Less product is required - Response is sustained longer - Requires fewer applications
  • 19. Biostimulants perform best when plants are supported with proper nutrition
  • 20. Love and Gratitude Plant Secondary Metabolites Inverse Bell Curve PSMs Plant biomass 1. Plants stressed from water/N/P deprivation = low biomass/elevated PSMs 2. Remove stress from water/N/P deprivation = high biomass/low PSMs 3. Increase nutritional integrity/photosynthesis = high biomass/yields, highest PSMs
