HEAVY DUTY PLATFORM
Purpose • Base by means of which many attachments are
fitted to the Texture Analyzer
• Ensures the precision alignment of probes and
product samples using the ‘target centering’
rings provided on the flat insert
• Pillars provide a thermal barrier to minimize heat
transfer between the sample under test and the

LOAD CELL
Weights • 500 grams, 5 kilos, 10 kilos, 30 kilos or 50 kilos.
Important • Test results would be improved if the load cells
were calibrated with forces that were closer to the
expected target force.
VIDEO CAPTURE AND SYNCHRONIZATION
Purpose • Capture and replay each video frame and see the
corresponding behavior on the force-distance-time
curve.
• Replay visual recordings frame by frame or play
them in a loop synchronized with the
corresponding force-distance-time graph
TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY MEASUREMENT
MODULES
Purpose • The thermal cabinets and Peltier plates assist
users to get highly accurate and reproducible test
results for temperature-sensitive products.
AUTOMATED LINEAR INDEXING SYSTEM (ALIS)
Purpose • The ALIS can help make a direct impact by
automating your manual, high volume repetitive
testing.
• Operators can set a product cartridge in place
and walk away while the instrument automatically
conducts and then analyzes a batch of tests.
DOUGH INFLATION SYSTEM
Purpose • Dough Inflation System helps measure the
rheological properties of both dough and gluten
during biaxial stretching, which is the relevant
deformation in the cell wall material surrounding an
expanding gas bubble during proof and baking.
TWIN BLADE SAMPLE PREPARATION TOOL
Purpose • This tool is used for a simple and quick means of
preparing samples of repeatable width, height or
thickness.
• This is of particular importance when required to
prepare cubed samples for compression testing or
when a sample of uniform width is necessary for
tests using blade fixtures.
TTC SPREADABILITY RIG
Purpose Measures the spreadability in products
Applications Margarine, table spread, or wax
Mechanism of
action
The product is forced to flow outward at 45°
between the male and female cone surfaces
during the test, the ease of which indicates
the degree of spreadability

TTC SPREADABILITY RIG
FORWARD EXTRUSION RIG
Purpose Measures the compression force required for a piston
disc to extrude a product through a standard size
outlet in the base of the sample container.
Application
s
Baking fats, sauces, pastes, gels, creams and viscous
liquids.
Mechanism
of action
As the probe compresses the sample, it is extruded out
of a tiny hole provided in the bottom.
