The NTI instructors will be responsible for explaining the process for meeting with the mentor teacher as well as the district expectations for technology in the classroom. The technology integration specialists will be responsible to meeting with mentor teacher and the NTI teacher on a monthly basis to determine if technology needs are being met for the new teacher.The purpose of this program will be to ensure all new teachers are introduced to the district expectations of technology in the classroom as well as provided the opportunity to learn and implement new technologies. Mentor teachers will be expected to monitor the progress of the new teacher and the technology integration specialist will be expected to track the progress of the new teacher as well as provide for the technology needs of the new teacher.
