3. Responsibilities of Personnel Superintendent-oversees the day to day operations of the district and makes sure district is working towards its vision. Assistant Superintendent-oversees district instruction, analyzes data, and makes recommendations to Superintendent regarding curriculum and technology. Director of Staff Development- responsible for development and implementation of professional development and programs for all teachers Executive Director of Technology-responsible for technology throughout the district. Manages the computer information systems. Stays up to date on current trends in technology in education Campus Principal- Monitors use of technology throughout the campus, allocates funds for equipment approved by Site based committee, and implements curriculum. Technology Integration Specialist- meet with teachers and grade level teams to offer resources, training, and ideas on how to better integrate technology in an engaging and collaborative manner for all students in the classroom. Classroom Teacher-responsible for integrating technology into lessons and for implementing Technology TEKS. Stay current in professional development.

4. Professional Development Planning Goal: Increase staff's level of technology integration expertise. After analyzing data from the STaR chart and teacher surveys, it is obvious that more professional development is needed that train teachers on how to integrate the technology into their lessons. Professional Development activities will be broken up into 3-4 part series focusing on Core subject areas and integration of Web 2.0 tools. SMART Notebook software and Google Apps for education will be highlighted since this is an overall initiative for our district and our school. These trainings will be held after school , and teachers will be able to choose which ones they attend. During teachers’ PLC times, they can collaborate on lessons integrating technology. Also, once a month, during team meetings, technology integration specialists will attend in order to offer support and continual training to make sure staff moves from one level of proficiency to the next.

5. Evaluation The progress of tech integration in classroom lessons will be monitored in many ways. Teachers will create and maintain a website on Google site. In this way, teachers will be modeling the use of Google sites for their students and parents. Walk-throughs will be done by instructional leaders and integration technology specialists to assess use of technology in lessons. Differentiated technology lessons will be utilized by all students and technology lessons will be student centered. Create a campus survey in addition to the STaR chart that assesses staff proficiencies with technology and professional development offerings. The data gained from all of the above will be used by the CIP committee to assess the technology needs for the next school year based on the Long Range Plan for Technology. The technology committee will also meet at least 2 times a year to review the plan and make sure the campus technology vision is still aligned with district plan.
