2. Mass or Niche
 The target audience for our film, will be Mass as we
are creating a horror/thriller film that targets a mass
audience. This is due to the stereotypical horror film
of a helpless protagonist and a powerful antagonist,
trying to kill the protagonist or torture them.
 Our film is targeted at the mass because lots of
people watch some sought of thriller or horror which
means we have a large audience. If we were
targeting an audience that like “South Park” for
example then we would be targeting a young
comedic audience. South Park has a niche
audience as it is very offensive and rude which lures
younger audiences to watch it.

3. Social Status
 The Target audience of our film are most likely
working class. This is because of the amount of thrill
and excitement within the film. If the higher classes
watch horror films, they are usually sub genres like
a action/horror. This is due to the higher satisfaction
of the upper class that want high quality films with
known celebrities in it.

4. Gender
 The target gender for my film will targeted at both men
and women because both men and women like
horror/thriller. The horror of the film is targeted at both
genders as it will make men and women be scared and
is not specific.
 Another reason why are film is targeted at both genders
is because of the theme. If the theme was masculine
with blood, sweat and war, then this will mainly be target
at men(stereotypically) and not as much as women.
Furthermore if the theme was about romance, e.g. like
Brigit Jones diary, then this will mainly be targeted at a
female audience stereotypically.

5. Age
 The target audience of our film will be aged
between 16-25 years of age. This is because the
young adults are in their prime and want to try new
and exciting things during this stage of their life.
Watching horror films such as this gives these
young adults the satisfaction of independence from
their parents or carers. Our film will therefor will
excite a younger audience quicker than a older
audience. Furthermore, younger audiences are also
encouraged to see the film by the blood or violence
which makes them want to see the horror film due
to the gore. Because of this, this will put off older
audiences as they may prefer a more
action/civilized film.

6. Location
 This target audience of our film will be the hole
nation. This is because people that love horror films
live all over the country and is not limited. However,
our would be mainly watched by people that live in
cities such as London and Manchester. This is
because they are working class/middle class
citizens that may want to watch film after a long day
at work.
