Age
 The usual age for a person to watch a horror film would be from
15-25 as this is the reasonable age range to where they
wouldn’t be scared or shocked by the content. Throughout the
young adulthood we are in the key stage of development and
learning about the world. Horror movies give the thrills that
excite the young ones easier than the older ones.
 The age range for my movie would be from 15-25 because it
wouldn’t be of any interest to older viewers and it would scare
the younger viewers.
+
Gender
 On a stereotypical scale, horror films are for more males than
females because females tend to be scared of most things
such as spiders. Violence is also a convention that is loved by
males, from stereotypical portrays of boys as a self fur filing
prophesy.
 In my movie the main gender for it would be both females and
males but more males, as it has a bit of domestic violence and
kidnapping e.c.t.
+
class
 Overall horror films are aimed at the working class community.
This is due to the level of thrill and excitement which is gained
form a horror film with a relative cheep price. If the upper class
watch horror films they must have a subgenre on another
genre such as comedy and action like scary movie.
 the class for my horror movie would working class as it is for
those who like the thrill of scaring themselves.

Group Of Audiences
 The audiences for horror movies are often groups of friends
with a mix of boys and girls however, there are key groups
of audiences who often see horror movies. Couples who are
either on a first date or have been in love for a while but not
married commonly go and see horror movies. They are also
good conversation starter after watching the film.
 The group of audiences that would view my movie , would
be mainly couples and group of friends because when a
couple goes to watch a scary movie , you would see that the
girls would tend to cling onto the male for closure and
comfort. A group of friends would go to see a scary movie
just for the thrill of it.

conclusion
 Overall the general demographic for an audience watching a
horror movies can be fairly brad however the majority of the
audience will be in the young age of 15- 25 who seek the thrill
of fear. Otherwise it would be couples and groups of friends.
The audience of the horror movies can often relate to the
characters in the film.
 The overall demographic for my horror movie would the age
rage of 15-45, and can be aimed at both males and females. It
would be more likely that the working class would go and see
my movie and go in groups of friends or couple/s.
