Is simply lengthening one of the Madd letters

Lengthen: 2 Seconds

4. ‫منفصل‬ ‫مد‬ Short Madd
Occurs in between TWO words
when the first word ends in a Madd letter (a vowel)
ُْ‫ا‬ ْ‫و‬ ُِْ‫ي‬
And the second word starts with a hamza ‫ء‬
Lengthen: 2-4 Seconds
or
4-5 seconds

(a vowel) is followed by shaddah
Lengthen: 6-8 Seconds

7. : Madd Silah/Connective‫صلة‬ ‫مد‬
Connects two words. The first word ends with letter (َ‫هــ‬) , (َ‫ــه‬) when it is used
as a Possessive Pronoun (Male).
You will see a “baby vowel” that matches the Harakah of the last letter.
