- The target audience for the magazine is 15-24 year olds, most of whom are female. The main music genres should be rock, pop rock, and punk.
- While most people said they don't regularly read magazines, the magazine could include posters, interviews with stars, or other unique extras to attract readers.
- The content should include around 40% interviews and 20% or less of other content types. Issues should cost between £0.99-£1.49.
- The magazine layout should remain consistent with a changing color scheme, and include either posters or vouchers in each issue plus occasional CDs.

Read| The latest issue of The Challenger is here! We are thrilled to announce that our school paper has qualified for the NATIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (NSPC) 2024. Thank you for your unwavering support and trust. Dive into the stories that made us stand out!
1. age
The majority of the answers I received were people
aged from 15-24 years old. Therefore I should aim
my magazine at people in this category. I could take
things like convergent media as technology is
advancing for this generation of people.
Gender
Most of the people that answered this
questionnaire were female. I should target a female
audience however still include features that would
appeal to males and any other gender
Genre
As the rock/pop rock/punk genre was the most
popular genre that shall be my main target audience.
However I could include some other genres as they
had similar results.
2. Readers
The majority of the people that did the questionnaire
said they don’t read magazines. I would have to
include a unique selling point such as posters or star
quality.
Selling format
Most of the people I asked said they prefer to buy
each magazine individually, however 20%said they
would prefer a subscription. I could make an offer
with a subscription service to get more people to buy
it because subscription ensures weekly sales.
Content
There is a mixed opinion on what the content of my
magazine should contain. However as more people
selected interviews I should have about 40% content
of interviews and everything else about 20% each.
3. Price
The majority of the people said that they
would pay £0.99-£1.49. As the mean age group
is 15-25 I would expect this to make it
affordable for them.
House style
I should keep my magazine layout consistent in
every issue however I will probably change the
colour scheme on most issues as 40% of
people said I wouldn’t affect their decision to
buy it.
Pull outs
There is a split between vouchers and posters.
I should alternate between them each week as
they both could be a unique selling point. Or
keep them both as a constant. 20% of people
also said they would like a CD so I could
include those monthly.
