Supporting Scholarly Awareness and Researchers’ Social Interactions using PUSHPIN
The PUSHPIN project aims to support scholarly awareness and social interactions among researchers. It does this by analyzing scientific publications and the resulting research networks. The goals are to make researchers aware of their connections and provide recommendations of similar peers, publications, and research interests. The project has three interfaces - a web application, mobile application, and tabletop application - and is currently in alpha testing.
