Study Skill Techniques
 While studying, students should set a
  timer.
 The timer can help keep the student
  on task while studying.
 Study in a quiet area with few, if any,
  distractions.
 Study the notes for a little while each
  night.
Ways Teachers Can Help
   Provide student with an outline for
    notes the first few times.
    ◦ This can help the student learn how to
      organize notes.
 Use a computer or some other
  electronic device (i.e. iPod, iPad, etc)
 Post class notes on teacher website
  for student to print out at home.

  • 7. Study Skill Techniques  While studying, students should set a timer.  The timer can help keep the student on task while studying.  Study in a quiet area with few, if any, distractions.  Study the notes for a little while each night.
  • 8. Ways Teachers Can Help  Provide student with an outline for notes the first few times. ◦ This can help the student learn how to organize notes.  Use a computer or some other electronic device (i.e. iPod, iPad, etc)  Post class notes on teacher website for student to print out at home.
