with the psychological and physical situations that his protagonists and antagonists

Designing for people is a challenge for many architects and designers. The idea of
creating something innovative, beautiful or in this case, sculptural, which stands the
test of time, is ideal for many designers. But what happens when a building doesn t
meet the needs of its occupants? What happens when, what is considered, a
magnificent architectural feat begins to leak, grow mold and become a safety hazard?
The Ray and Maria Stata Center for Computer, Information and Intelligence Sciences
(also referred to as Building 32) is housed on the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology s (MIT) historic Building 20 site. Between 1946 and 1948, Building 20
functioned primarily as a temporary facility specifically for wartime outdoor training
exercises, and as a research laboratory for war related innovations. Building 20
continued to function as a research facility until its 1998 demolition. Architect, Frank
Gehry was selected, from a pool of sixteen firms, to design the new building after
funding became available through a donation from Ray and Maria Stata in 1998. The
Institute sought a daring design that set them a part and portrayed the school as the
best. The criteria initially established by MIT in 1989 proposed buildings that
wrapped around the exterior of the site, opening the interior space to the campus. This
didn t quite match Gehry s vision. Instead, Gehry challenged MIT s traditional bar

With the entry level cameras, our strategy was to produce them with very minimal
cost to ourselves. Furthermore, by having the entry level cameras relatively low cost
this will potentially lead to mass production, which was our intended goal for these
cameras. These cameras were envisioned where any average customer could
purchase it comfortably to use on a daily basis. With that being said, we figured that
many other companies would attempt to tackle the same price adjustment strategy that
we were operating with. We reckoned that many companies were attempting to raise
their prices for entry level cameras, having said that we altered by maintaining a
fairly lower price to raise profits. Unfortunately, we realize that this isn t working out
for our company, and decided to modify the prices, however we preformed this

that North America, and Europe Africa were our main consumers and had stronger
demands for our products, we suddenly realized that we should offer the other more

three type of essay, Formal Academic Critique, Causal Analysis and Argument
Research. We started with practicing the technique to summarize and paraphrase the

critique essay writing process, I learnt many new knowledge that helped me to

as a successful summary restated resources in my own words; present only the main,
or important details; maintain a neutral and objective stance. A successful critique
moves beyond summary; assess or analyze what author want to present; should offer
interpretations and judgments about what I read; give evidence to support my
