What is time management?
Time management is the act or process of planning and Exercising
conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific
activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or
productivity
Why manage time?
Because of time is limited. There are only 24hr in a day that’s
why To plan and control how you spend the hours in your day
to effectively accomplish your goals. What goals are important
to you and what action you need to achieve your target
Advantages of time management
 Focuses your mind on important objectives.
 You are less likely to forget to do tasks.
 You don’t need to hold everything in your head.
 It helps to decide on priorities. The most important
and the most urgent.
 You always have something to work on.
 You get the reward off your achievement.
How to manage time?
 One useful way to manage time is to use a time logo .
 First you need to make up a chart for the next 7 days
divided into half hour intervals starting at the time
you get up and finishing at the time you go to bed.
Write down what you did in each half hour of the day.
 T.M skills are valuable in job hunting
What is stress management?
 Stress is a general term . A state of psychological and
physiological imbalance resulting between situational
demand and the individuals ability and motivation to meet
those needs.
Stress management are 2
types
1. Positive
2. Negative
 If the stress is good when the situation offers on
opportunity to a person to gain something it acts as
a motivator for peak performance
 If the stress is –ve when a person faces social,
physical organizational and emotional problems
Causes of stress
 They feel guilty while relaxing
 They get irritated by mirror mistakes of self and others
 They feel impatient and dislike waiting
 They also multitask and prefer to do several things at
one time
What can you do about stress?
 1st find out what is causing stress in your life.
 Look for ways to reduce the amount of stress in your
life.
 Learn healthy ways to relieve stress and reduce its
harmful effects.
How can you avoid stress?
Stress is a fact of life. You might try some of these ideas
 Learn better ways to manage your stress. If you make a
schedule think about which things are most important and
do those first.
 Be honest about what works and what doesn’t think about
other things that might work better.
 Take good care of yourself get plenty or rest eat well, don't
smoke, limit how much alcohol you drink.
 Try out new ways of thinking.
How can you relieve stress?
One of the best way to manage stress focus on
 Regular meditation
 Physical exercise
 Balanced diet
 Focused thinking
 Control of anger
 Managing depression
