When I needed to do presentations of Scrum to executives and students, I started to look for existing ones. Most presentations I found were very good for detailed presentations or training. But what I was looking for was a presentation I could give in less than 15 minutes (or more if I wanted). Most of them also contained out dated content. For example, the latest changes in the Scrum framework were not present and what has been removed was still there.
Session Abstract:
Agile framework is based on iterative development, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional teams. It’s a set of values and principles that help teams respond to unpredictability through incremental, iterative work cadences and continuous feedback.
Scrum is the most popular methodology under the Agile umbrella. Scrum emphasizes empirical feedback, team self-management, and striving to build shippable product increments within short iterations.
Kanban is another popular flavor of Agile that focuses on visualizing and managing the flow of work, in order to balance demand with available capacity and remove bottlenecks.
Learning Objectives:
> Gain a broad understanding of the Agile framework
> Discover Scrum and Kanban, the two most widely used Agile methodologies, and see how they can be used in construction industry
> Find out how Scrum and Kanban can be combined to have the best of both worlds (Scrumban)

Kanban was originally created as a scheduling system to help manufacturing organizations determine what to produce, when to produce it, and how much to produce. Although this may not sound like software development, these lean principles can be successfully applied to development teams to improve the delivery of value through better visibility and limits on work in process.
This webinar will provide an overview of the Kanban method, including the history and motivation, the core principles and practices, and how these apply to efficiency and process improvement in software development. We’ll also describe how Team Foundation Server can be used as a foundation for your work visualization and work flow management. Come join us for this free Webinar!
This presentation highlights the benefits of using agile methodologies.
It also describe what is agility and how different it is from waterfall approach. What are the different agile methodologies and what is Scrum the most used agile methodology world wide.

CMS battle between Drupal and EPiServer.
Summary:
If online service is your core business, Drupal is a strong platform for accelerating your own type of development—even a very unique and magnificent one. It is no coincidence that media companies are big players in the Drupal camp. Drupal's model is also well applicable to extremely multi-channel publishing and performance.
If your online service is primarily sales and marketing oriented, EPiServer's product features should get you excited. Web teams producing multi-language marketing sites, in particular, should consider EPiServer as a power tool.
EPiServer provides a lot of functionality that can be used out-of-the-box. In some occasions, like specific project requirements we need to extend the CMS. Learn in this session, some of the options you as a developer have.
EPiServer Marketing Arena - Turning web traffic into revenueEpiserver
EPiServer Marketing Arena - integrated modules for marketers which helps you deploy and track better campaigns, monitor visitor activity in real time, generate more relevant traffic, test landing pages and improve your SEO every day.
Alternative ways of developing web sites using EPiServer CMS. An introduction to three open source frameworks that allow us to better tackle complexity, have a more enjoyable development experience and deliver better, well tested sites using EPiServer CMS.

The Role of a BA on a Scrum Team IIBA Presentation 2010scrummasternz
What is your role as a BA on a Scrum team? How do you fit in? This presentation was given to the IIBA conference in NZ in 2010 by Stephen Reed. Stephen had worked extensively as a BA and moved into using Scrum with multiple teams at a large Insurance company. This experience led to a lot of questions around what the BA should be doing on a Scrum team. This presentation goes some way to listing what worked in the teams Stephen was involved in. The BA role does not change and all the skills of a great BA are necessary still on a great Software Development team, just more focused on being a team member and utilising those skills for the Scrum process of getting working software to the customer with more focus and clarity for the user.

What is Scrum? And Why? (For Stakeholders)Keisuke Daimon
This is to explain what scrum is and why we use it to stackholders (those who are not in Scrum team). Details about Scrum are not mentioned, but clarifying concepts is the main focus.
This is one of the very best presentations about scrum that I know of and thought it worthwhile to have it up for people to be able to check it out. It's great that the authors went for a Creative Commons license.

This is an introduction of Scrum where you can find an awesome big picture with each event, artifact and roles involved to make Scrum works.

Join BostonPHP and Michael Bourque as he presents the concept of Scrum and shows why so many people are now deploying scrum to their development projects. Michael will take us through the process and talk about how his company, Parametric Technology Inc. (PTC) , is successfully applying Scrum.
This deck describes the key learnings from a coaching engagement I did in early 2009 for VersionOne. . Might be called... how to do Scrum and deliver nothing ;-)

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
